I’m looking for your best moves. This lady is constantly playing tricks on me (hiding supplies I ordered, telling me to log into meetings that are obviously only for high level managers so I look stupid, spreading gossip, constantly parading “new hires” for my job who, mysteriously, have a problem with me without knowing me at all, then these people never even start working) Her signature maneuvers are saying insulting things (“we gotta get so-and-so back so someone actually does (my job)!”) with a big fake cackle, or asking me questions and when I got to answer just start small talking with someone else. Last year I wrote HR about her (I know…bad move) when she asked me to do the college homework of another employee so her and that person could giggle and gossip. That employee got so pumped on her “in” with the boss that she threatened me that there were gonna be some “beat downs” on me if I didn’t “start respecting her” (keep doing her homework, was the implication). I am looking for another job but know I don’t have a ref from this one.
