It is my first week here. This is a front desk position. There is a boil advisory here due to pipes freezing and breaking in the city.
Since this entire nursing home is using hand sanitizer only, I can only imagine what it is like upstairs with all the patients who need showers and aren't getting them. Especially the ones in diapers.
There is no running water in the entire building. Over 300 people housed here. I can't wash my hands after going to the bathroom (gross). Schools have shut down and I don't think it's legal to work in these conditions.
We even took a mandatory class on handwashing with hot soapy water before we could even enter this facility. There are 5 active Covid cases here. What do you all think?
