We just had a very disturbing meeting with our new CEO

My company recently got a new CEO, and this was our first All Employee meeting with him as CEO. He was previously our CFO and pretty quickly was transitioned. (We all work remote, this meeting was via Zoom) In our meeting he was talking about Fiscal year 2023 and talked about price increases and flat out said, ” The customer will have to take on the price difference”. Which we all know is the status quo for companies, but then he was later discussing questions he had and someone said “Well, can the customer afford these increases?” and he flat out said, ” I don't really care if they can” I don't want to give too much information about the industry, but this is absolutely shocking. They then went on about how we will have to listen to the customer complaints and they will just have to deal with it.…

HA.

I'm honestly shocked.
