I am a manager for a contract with a large retailer to do their local flooring consultations and measures. My company provides my work phone (I have my personal) and computer. I am going on a week-long trip out of the country and my boss/company owner has requested that I leave my computer and phone at the office for them to use while I am away to “monitor” the program.
I of course feel itchy when it comes to turning my phone and computer in.
to navigate this, I will be logging off of firefox which contains my password manager, along with deleting all text messages, voicemails, and locking all apps that are connected with personal accounts.
What I really need is someone to tell me this is normal or hinky or illegal and I know yall are great about this.
