So couple Saturdays ago I left my key on the office desk. I was done. My GM had a shitty attitude with me. I was told “I can’t have people just show up & clock in whenever.” I wasn’t even clocked in. When I left the key I got a text a couple hours later asking why my key was on the desk? Why do you think? It was clear to me what they wanted. They wanted to chase off the vets. The ones that been here a while but weren’t scared to say what will & won’t work. That was 3 of us. New schedule dropped Saturday. The vets were making 16 hours while everyone else was pushing 30. One of the vets said she’s done & quit. Today I got a text asking if I could work today. I had to humor her & ask who called in. Dude has been here 2 weeks & called in 3 times. And she’s making him manager? Another girl is manager. My god she is clueless. It amuses me they wanted to get rid of the vets for the new crew. New crew has HORRIBLE work ethic. I can’t recall the last time I called in. I see it as losing money. But money isn’t everything. To me living your life…not being 100% working & killing your self. To me breaking my GM is worth it. Breaking in the sense that her seeing Corporate doesn’t care about her & corporate isn’t 100% right. That the labor issue & money issue is a direct result of corporate messing up time & time again.
