Well this is going to be interesting. I have just found out that my employer isn’t going to replace my work mate.
We are tradespeople with a lot of experience and training. My co worker quit because the new bosses have been putting the pressure on him since they bought the company. Admittedly he was a bit lazy but he got the work done.
So now there is only me, I asked what if I’m sick or go on holiday? The answer was ‘ oh I can do it’ then she asked me to train her. She got bored and has had a total of 4 hours training.
The thing is I’m due a holiday in a couple of months and by law they can’t stop me from taking it.
