Went in for waffle house in-unit training on monday heading in for orientation today…….

Honestly felt illegal, I was cooking food (no prior training) for customers, for 8 hours straight no breaks, sweating my ass off over a hot ass grill, and now I have to go in for orientation soon (I dont want to but ppl gotta work to live) I can already tell it's not for me but they literally told me “unless you're one of the good cooks, you won't get a break here” like what? That's not how that works. Honestly just wondering if anyone here knows what I have to do at orientation, if I have to stand over another grill cooking for 8 hours I'd rather not go… you arent training me you're working me, my food goes to actual paying customers.
