The part that pisses me off is yesterday, October 7th, 10 business days later, I get a call from a recruiter who is trying to sweet talk me into taking the position. I told him to tell the hiring manager to take the job and shove it. I already have a job lined up that pays $10 more an hour. To me, my email to the hiring manger should have been clear I was no longer interested.
