WFH – How to break the news that I moved?

I've worked remotely on and off for the past three years. I really enjoy working from home and get good feedback from management during these periods. I know my boss would prefer if everyone worked full-time from the office, but work in our industry has not been stable enough to justify an office-wide ultimatum. In May, my boss approved my request to work from home over the summer after he acknowledged the disappointing annual raise and rising cost of living/childcare. I was recently priced out of my terrible apartment. Last month, I decided to move closer to my husband's work a few hours away where the property values are lower. I was recently priced out of my terrible apartment. Last month, I decided to move closer to my husband's work a few hours away where the property values are lower. No one has noticed and my schedule and work quality have not changed. Now that my old lease is up and my bank account has recovered from moving expenses, how should I tell my boss I moved and will not return to work at the office after summer? This move was a financial decision, but I'm worried my boss will take it personally and consider the news as my resignation.
