WFH, Volunteer to work a holiday at double my hourly…SIGN ME UP!!!!

This is not an anti-work rant, but rather an example of a company treating their employees well. So where I work, we get paid holidays off. I also WFH. Before each holiday they ask if anyone wants to work (optional) on the holiday. With Labor Day coming up, I inquired how much holiday pay was…I was told it was double my hourly rate (I make a decent hourly rate). I definitely put my name down to work, and may do so for future holidays especially because we are 100% work from home and going to the office is voluntary. This serves as an example of what happens when companies pay well and take care of their employees. More companies need to do this.
