I work in customer service for a large corporation. Next year I will have my 20th anniversary. Most years I have been in the leading category. I am performing so far this year.
So the expectations of what needs to happen during a call have more than miltiplied this year. Today while reviewing a call I expressed my frustration and unhappiness with never doing enough on a call. BTW the call we reviewed lasted well over an hour. My supervisor's response well maybe you should find another job.
So that hopefully won't happen (mainly because I have 5 weeks vacation and need to keep my health coverage. But I am done. I have enough experience and skill to do my job just adequately. That is what they get from now on… OK, no more.
