What are IL labor laws regarding consecutive work days?

So I’m a manager of a full time team of seven. They all generally work Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, and they get paid overtime. We have a large festival coming up that is Friday-Sunday. My employer plans on having our staff take 3 day weekends on the weekend before and after the festival, then mandate that everyone work 8-hour shifts from Tuesday of the first week to Thursday of the next week. I get that it breaks down to 40 hours/week, but feel like it’s really taking advantage of/overworking our staff. They are not being offered overtime or comp time for working a weekend that they would otherwise have off. Wondering if there are labor laws in Illinois that state otherwise. Thanks!
