Just found out the hard way that my City job doesn't pay sick time during a 6 month probation even though you accrue it… the handbook says “Everyone can use sick time as it is accrued”, but they seem to make shit up as they go… Asking someone to go 6 months without getting sick is pretty silly to me Anyway, tell me about some of your ridiculous policies?
