I am in an argument with my friend who insists that anyone can reasonably make a wage so long as they go to college or trade school, which they insist is doable for everyone in America. They said this is necessary for starting a family, so people shouldn’t have a child if they can’t afford it, as that is what they did (in the 80’s). I am having difficulty finding reasonable counterclaims, so are there any personal anecdotes or evidence you can provide? Sorry about the unusual post. I would be willing to post it somewhere else if more applicable there.
