What are the factors to tell if an attempt to unionize at my job would be successful? Is it possible if I’m remote?

I've thought about quitting but that comment from Chris Smalls of the Amazon Labor movement makes me want to just attempt to unionize at my current job. I have no idea if other employees would go for it though. “If you quit you're just jumping from one shitty circumstance into another. Stay where you are and unionize” ~not an exact quote but feel free to post the link if you find it. The things that are currently unsatisfactory: pay, job security, workload, benefits, work/life balance, expectation to work OT, constant changing of client platforms (resulting in making our day to day more complicated)
