Greed was the first and easiest since Capitalism puts making money over everything. A laissez-faire attitude which allows greed to be justified as the natural outcome.
The second has to be ruthlessness. The abject disregard for others which are not seen as existing much less human. Ruthlessness allows such horrible decisions to be inflicted upon employees by owners who are driven by greed. The mindset of justification that if I didn't do it then someone else would.
Apathy is my third choice. Everyone worried about themselves and ignoring what is happening to others. This has riddled through society as the resources are hoarded by the few so by necessity everyone is only worried about themselves, lacking resources to care for or stand up for anyone but themselves. One simply cannot afford to care.
Exploitation is the last choice to make this shorter. The mechanism which drives towards the destination of greed by the accelerator of ruthlessness, looking through a windshield of apathy. This engine is the work horse of instilling the first three and is being justified by “quiet quitting.” Quiet quitting is defined however the exploiter chooses to their benefit.
These are the social values being promoted in the United States and have been taught for the last couple generations. We are now seeing the culmination of it's effect.
What other social values does Capitalism promote?
