What can I do if I was held in “training” for a promotion for 7 months without the promotion money when it normally would take a week or maybe 2 if it’s longer than usual in florida?

Got put into training for cashier, management got swapped at the grocery store I work at, and even though I asked many times in the 7 month span I was never given the promotion for some excuse or another. Is there anything I can do?
