My fiancé quit her job because it was a very hostile place, and she wasn’t getting fully compensated for all the work she was doing, and worked a lot of OT. She worked remotely, occasionally driving to clients. She was a social worker for this company, and they worked with clients who had been in motor vehicle accidents.
This morning, she had a meeting with the director of the company (her business), and a supervisor. The director essentially shit on her and shamed her for resigning the entire time. She made a lot of low blow comments such as “maybe your old job would have been okay with this, but not here”.. and “why did you ask for more clients if you were just planning on quitting the entire time”.
I’m shocked at the unprofessionalism and I don’t want this woman to get away with it.
What can my fiancé do? We are in Toronto, Ontario by the way.
