What cities have less pretentious workaholics who are constantly chasing a higher social status?

It's no shocker that living in nyc, you're more likely to run into those types of people. I'm very much a type B person and this city is just too much for me I need to move. I'm not some lazy asshat, I work a regular job delivering mail and I enjoy it for the most part. But every date I've gone on (even the one last night), guys seemed so turned off once they find out I'm content with clocking in and clocking out and not looking to “do better” or work 80 hour weeks. So I'm over it. What cities do you recommend where people aren't so judgmental and condescending about work, the rat race and social prestige? Or am I just being a little bitch about this?
