First, I’m working in Texas and I’m a deckhand for a party boat. Our payment is only granted only after each trip we go out on. It’s at least one trip a week. My concern is this, we have to work 6-8 hours before each trip to prepare and after the trips, we stay behind to clean for 3 or 4 hours. There is no hourly pay. So I just worked 12 plus hours and only got paid 200 dollars for a 36 hour fishing trip. Is that right? What can I do here?
