What do i look for in a new job?

I left my previous job due to lack of management, direction, and underwhelming pay, ( they put out a new app higher than what i signed for ) I just genuinely was pissed, unhappy, & betrayed by someone i looked up to for all the answers ( Im a chef ) Any advice? All appreciated.
