I’m in college for the summer and I was scheduled nearly 40 hours when I said my maximum hours were 25 when I was hired. The manager should have been able to see that when she scheduled me almost 40.
I talked to her and told her 25 was the agreed upon amount and she told me “well, it depends if we can do anything about it” with an irritated tone. I told her I’m in classes and she repeated it.
I was hired part time and established my maximum, why am I being given full time hours? I want to be able to have time for my classes. Any advice on how to engage with her if she doesn’t take off those shifts past 25 hours?
