I texted my boss last Monday night stating that I was starting to come down with a cold. He proceeded to say come in tomorrow and wear a mask. There are 2 other people that understand the processes of inbound and outbound shipments. Those other people were either in hospital for the week or getting surgery and in recovery. I worked the entire week and felt like absolute death on Friday. My boss asks if I can work overtime Sunday to reduce the backlog of orders (we work Monday-Friday). I replied saying I need to rest and hopefully get over this cold. It's now Sunday afternoon and I haven't left my bed yet?
I've already left my job once for more money but came back because of my coworkers. I've been contemplating the last few months about leaving and just waiting for the time to be right. I think the time is now to make a switch. There are also many more red flags within the company but what do you think I should do?
