What are things that could be better or we aren't thinking through? I know we will hit challenges on the full-stack dev side given the demand, but I am curious if there is a way to make this work.
Salary
- Everyone in the same tier makes the same salary (starting salary expected to grow)
- Tier 1: CEO/CTO/CMO – $100K
- Tier 2: Art Director/Game Designer/Full-Stack Devs – $90K
- Tier 3: Social Media Manager/Artists – $80K
- The lowest salary will never go below $80K
- Everyone's salary, bonus, equity will be shown
Checks & Balances
- The Tier 1 employee's salary can NEVER exceed 5x of the lowest paid employee of the company (frame of reference 20x in 1965 to 351x and more today)
- Rest of company anonymously votes on Tier 1 employee salaries
- Rest of company anonymously votes for hiring new employees before increasing salaries of Tier 1 employee (i.e improving work-life balance)
- Anonymous voting of benefits and company policies by employees
