What do you prefer: Remote, Hybrid, or In-Person work-life?

I personally tried to work a 4 month contracted position for marketing remotely for a financial B2B company. Staff I worked with said they loved working online, but the expectation was to return once the pandemic eased. I obviously, was finished working with that company before any announcements of arrangements were made, but it has allowed for me to get experience working remote. I had no motivation whatsoever each morning to get out of bed and work at my desk for 8 hours a day. I felt lonely, and my workday consisted of 3 or so meetings staged throughout the day, and the rest of the time, I worked independently. I communicated through Slack/Asana. The company hosted a couple REMOTE events every month for people to attend, such as drinking socials, and game nights. All of this was still very depressing, yet most of the people who attended, really enjoyed…

Does anyone else feel the same way I do with online work? How can I feel more motivated to work remote if I choose that path?
