I started in a new company a few months ago, this week we got an E-mail from the department leaders with an annual survey, in which they basically ask If you know how to do your job if your boss and colleagues do their job right and provide training and openness to critique and if the work done is actually good and complete.
The e-mail says it's “Anonymous,” yet this is clearly bullshit for the last questions are about your position and work region (We are about 60 people total) and disregarding if the system registers your name or not. With this population, it's easy as pie to identify who responded to what.
I don't care about the survey. I will just answer what they want to hear, It's not like it's life-changing, but it got me thinking if it was regarding something that would cause retaliation, that would be very screwed up. What are your thoughts?
