I know most of the people here are against work (duh), but what about if that work is going towards your own business, that you’re actually passionate about?
Like most of you, I absolutely hate corporate culture and everything to do with it. I absolutely do not intend on creating some multi million dollar corporation. However, I do enjoy working, as long as it’s something I like, and am passionate about. I love making progress and advancing further in life, and feel as though a business would allow me to put in 100% of my effort into my own passion, rather than putting it straight into some corporate scum’s pockets.
Of course I would try my best to avoid all of the things I don’t like about other companies/jobs along the way. I’d like to pay a good wage, give benefits, etc, to the fullest extent I can afford. I want people to enjoy working at my business, like ACTUALLY enjoy it. I want my employees listening to their favorite music, eating snacks whenever, and joking around when appropriate. And I want them to be paid a living wage for it. Maybe a 4 day work week or something too idk, but I just don’t see the point in starting a company nobody wants to work for. I hated working at the companies I worked for before, and want to make sure I’m not propagating these negative business practices in my own business.
What is your guys’ opinions on starting a business? Or tips for starting a business people actually enjoy working at?
