My wife works for a semi-major corporation and recently applied to be a regional manager for the state of Washington (we live in Oregon) and when they offered her the job, they're offering 50k a year to manage a whole state. That's barely a 5k raise and they say her average week will be 55-60 hours, meaning they basically just offered her a $4 an hour pay cut to move 6 hours away to Seattle where cost of living will be significantly higher and they dont cover moving costs at all. I just dont get how they think that's a reasonable offer at all.
