I'm losing my job soon, and in applying for new ones I've come across the obligatory disability form. Among other things, anxiety and depression are listed as things that could qualify as a disability in the workplace. I do get panic attacks out of nowhere sometimes, cry uncontrollably sometimes, etc. I've been working at my parents small business, so when I have a really bad day, my mom was nide enough to send me home. And pre-covid, I even quit a job after 7 months because my depression and anxiety were getting so bad.
So my question is: does this sound like it could qualify as a disability (for jobs, not for govt assistance or anything), and if so, would there be anything to gain or different if I admit to having it?
