Applied at this big time company that specializes in linen and company uniforms. Had to read about the history of this company by being handed a little novel of it after my first interview. Read the whole book a few times and once more for good measure as I was told that I was going to be asked about it during my 2nd interview.
The 2nd interview went well enough to get a 3rd interview within the week. I’m confused at this point as to why I proceeded to go on an additional 2 more interviews with this company only to be told after the 5th and final interview that I was no longer a candidate!
A waste of my time, or they found a better candidate?
