So, I work at Arby's, and to begin with management is kinda crap, but today I was supposed to work, but my friend called me asking if I wanted to volunteer to take today off cause they were basically overstaffed, then about an hour later asks me to come back in because a person called out for closing tonight and phrased it “we need to to come in tonight because someone called out”.
My question is, can they do that, could I have declined? I told her I had plans but I guess I can change them, and she took that as a yes I can come in.
