Due to sudden personal reasons I won't be able to come into work for a whole month (July) and a bit. I talked to my boss about it today and he asked me what I think he should do as it is quite sudden. The new financial year has just started and this would mean that i take all my yearly leave at the start of thr financial year.
I said that, i thought about it and the only thing he can do i find a replacement for me. He asked if he were to find a way for me to rejoin after I come back would i be willing?
I said I would accept only if it was a different role as he knows about my interested career. Iam in admin currently and have talked to him about my interests beforehand.
So what are my options. I am giving them exactly 2 weeks 4 days notice. On the co tract it says “you are required to give 1months written notice period”
