There simply aren’t enough politicians that entertain any of the issues we post about here in r/antiwork.
Unions aren’t necessarily the answer. I’m in a union, and the work conditions are bad. I work in a trade, and it’s all about BONUSES! They rush through projects to get their bonuses. Safety is a “top priority” but that’s just to make themselves look good. They don’t care. Say no to a few Saturday’s? Laid off. Use the bathroom too much? Laid off
So, what do we do? Vote blue no matter who? That doesn’t work.
We can keep quitting our jobs and doing all that we can to make it fair for us, but that isn’t sustainable. Just curious what you guys think.
Me personally, I can get a pension and annuity After 10 years. I have 9 to go and I’ll be off to Mexico, where I can teach English from home.
