Think about it. We have enough clothing on the planet right now that we could probably conceivably clothe the planet for a half a century. Don't need anything associated with clothing production or sales for at least a half a century. Does any more home decor really need to be created in the conceivable future? Certainly much, much, much less. We need toilet paper, doctors, people to work at water plants, electric plants, we need paper (although much less than what is actually produced). We need teachers. With as much crap as we have already in existence, what jobs actually need to be done? Most people are just working to have jobs so they can survive. A lot of this just doesn't need to be done. When will we actually be able to benefit from the work and innovation that has already put in?
