So here's the run down- My boss talks crap about people, including me, on a regular basis. His family works in the company and of course, his family can get away with anything. I'm often working harder than everyone else because his family takes advantage of being on salary and sort of just come and go as they please. Meanwhile, I'm doing the job of two or three people. In the past I've been watched by his family and end up getting talked about little things, because I'm essentially being babysat by them when my boss is off.
Here's where I'm stuck- It's the best work schedule I've ever had and gives me a ton of time with my husband and kids, ALL meals are provided at work and I'm often sent home with food, the pay is low for my education but in general it's decent, and I do actually help people for a living and love the job (much of the time) because of the way I'm able to contribute to making society a little better each day.
But… I do have days where my boss is a total asshole and I want to throw in the towel. I just did two interviews this week and got offered both jobs, so it's crunch time for me to make a decision. The two job offers pay better, but the schedule is garbage and I'd never see my family.
Knowing all of this… Would you stay, or go?
