My sick mother just text me that she “tried” to call out sick because she is and that her job would not let her. She's a boomer obviously and doesn't understand that $13/hr isn't enough to sacrifice your health for. Now the reason they won't let her is because they have no employees hmm I wonder why…. So the owner doesn't want to be there to do their job. I am trying to show her the light and let her know she's got them by the balls at the very least she deserves a raise. Any ideas on how to convince her to stop being a slave?
