What would you do if you get a ‘Don’t discuss Salary’ group message?

I'm middle management at a Job i like, with a decent direct boss that i'm good with, I have a good work-life balance, so I'm not looking to burn any bridges or upend my life. However, from upper management we got a group text basically saying 'I don't understand why people discuss salary, if it comes up, kindly let them know you were brought up at home not to discuss salary'. Aside from completely ignoring the 'request', but also saving the text message in multiple formats, is there anything else you would do? Edit: I appreciate most people suggesting the burned bridge approach, and while I can't legally get fired for this approach, I do like my job, and don't necessarily want to deal with whatever blowback happens if I take that approach.
