Despite all the hard work to mitigate the effects of the recession, by numbers we are in a recession.
Almost all countries have a low growth rate (except for China).
Everything became more difficult, company CEOs wanted more hiring people and everyone looked happy with it like with Amazon Go (grocery store with no cashier)
Elon Musk once had the radical idea of replacing every “ENGINEER” at Tesla with robotics but happily, that failed.
In spite of the fact that it is human nature to impress others as a way to rise in the hierarchy and to become more socially accepted by buying non-necessary items, I have noticed that this type of action is becoming less significant for people as they are choosing cheaper products and lowering their expectations. TLDR; I think we went into recession when we all chose Chinese products which gave birth to the incredible economy of China. (not saying that all Chinese products are crap for sure)
I've seen a lot of men literally saying “If only I could be sold, I would choose that”
Even, a president has said that before! (https://www.aljazeera.com/economy/2016/2/25/egypts-sisi-put-up-for-sale-on-ebay-after-speech)
No wonder the trend of “Femboys” is used to get twitch/youtube views and probably donations.
Politicians are blaming the Russia-Ukraine conflict for a root problem that was from a long way back.
Why are we all okay with that? Do you feel that things could get wrong? How much should we worry about the future?
