Two that are golden for me are: Supervisor 1: If those guys quiet, I’ll be a lot tougher on them. (How does that help exactly?) Supervisor 2: I won’t give you a raise unless you change your degree to something I think benefits us. (This was a temporary custodial job that I told them I’d end up needing to leave for school).
