What’s the most boomer-ish thing your family has said to you?

My mom isn’t a “boomer” she’s 49 but she’s been getting on my nerves lately. She’s been making little snide remarks about my job search. She keeps mentioning it’s “too soon to leave” (not a thing) after only about 9 months and I just need to “keep pushing and my company will recognize it”. I want a fully remote job, which she constantly scoffs at (even though she’s literally trying to secure enough clients to be a full-time REMOTE counselor/therapist, but ok). But I want a remote job because I’m “antisocial and don’t want to work hard or have to go anywhere” Well…yes? Did you want your precious son to be perpetually annoyed at work and pass up on money? I’m confused.
