what’s the worst interview process you’ve been through?

Currently in two interviews. The one was painless, met with 4 team members all in one day under the premise the interview would be a '1 and done' excluding a potential brief Skype call (likely to tell the person they got the offer). The other has been so painful, sporadic interviews (like I don't work a 8-5) spread out over a month and a '3 hour project' that could more accurately be described as an 8hr+ project, but the hiring manager wanted to come off as being respectful of candidates time so in the body of the project put 'ideally we ask that you spend 3 hours in this'. This isn't even a senior level position more junior to mid level (analyst position), seems insane but the pay would be a significant raise, so I'm jumping through the hoops.
