Long time lurker, first time poster.
Recently had someone approach me for a role in my industry which can be very lucrative with the right company (sadly many underpay and overwork). I responded to the invite and as they provided no info on the role I requested salary info and work schedule. Had the guy typing a reply out then ghost me.
I hate this idea we are just slaves to the corporations and they couldn't possibly hire someone just after money. Why are we at work if not for trading skills and time for money? Idgaf if you're a work family, get outta here with that toxic bs.
Sorry for the rant, it just urks me we can't even trust a company to be honest and upfront about salary expectations etc (even if they would get superior applicant sir they advertised a solid salary – instead of hiding the fact they underpay). Sadly I don't feel it will change for a long time.
