When free market advocates think it only applies to employers and not employees lol

Here in the UK today, one of the candidates to be the next PM has said that British people ‘lack graft’ and need to work harder. Now listening to a radio call-in and it’s attracting the worst kind of free market cronies saying nobody wants to work, people slack off all day, they all want to work from home, it’s greedy/selfish workers that are getting in the way of truly realising the potential of capitalism. Newsflash: free market principles apply to the labour market too! People are selling their labour to you. If what you’re offering isn’t attractive enough, they won’t choose you. They’ll choose a better offer from your competitor. And what’s more, that’s the exact principle that you think business should work on! Or isn’t that the kind of free market you like?
