When I do the surveys I always say join unions and workers rights.

When I have to buy things from companies not local or who don't treat their staff well i tend to write reviews saying join a union and how well they do but they need a union and what not. Here is a snippet of one I just sent to Amazon. Can we make this also the norm? Its not just to tell those big companies to fuck off but also with the influx of people writing these reviews it may light a fire in the worker that does want to make a change and this might be the final touch to it. I work in Customer service and it does feel amazing when the customer is also on the side of the worker so even though it is small I am trying to do my part. Though my end goal is no work at all unless you want to cause Im not going to stop you from doing what you want, this I see as baby steps if not just making someone feel connected to another soul out there in customer service land.

REVIEW

Wonderful person I talked to and the issue has been resolved really quickly.

only suggestion I have is to join a union.

Union members earn better wages and benefits than workers who aren’t union members. On average, union workers’ wages are 11.2% higher than their nonunion counterparts.

Ninety-six percent of union workers have employer-provided health insurance, but only 69% of nonunion workers do.

Unions help bring more working people into the middle class. In fact, in states where people don’t have union rights, workers’ incomes are lower.

They are the reason for the 40 hour work week (before it was however much they can squeeze out of you) , the working only 5 out of 7 days (before it was non stop).

They are the only voice that working people have to fight with against corporate who focus more on profits than its people.

You are not the company, you do not bleed for your company, you work for it.

You are a human being who deserves to be treated as such. As do all workers, anyone working full time of only 40 hours a week should be granted a LIVING wage and human decency.
