Is there anywhere that you can live. Like cost vs wage being reasonable. Where I live now 15s cap for trade/manufacturing/warehouse work. But with rent having moved from 500 to 1400 in last 10yrs not doable.
Is there anywhere in usa that you can like I look around state and everywhere is either same. Or some will have “increased wage” but its like oh yeah heres 20 instead of 15 but rents also 1600-1800 and oh by the way commutes twice as long so add 200 bucks in gas to your budget and poof your in slightly worse situation than before.
Is there anywhere that wage for these jobs isn't rock bottom. Had hope for better applied for a few jobs. Ironically was excited for one a winco one had 20hr and healthcare for 50 bucks a month which huge.
Considering lump I have been ignoring for better part of year while its grown. Then I get call for interview break it 15-20hrs most weeks with cap at 30 (so wouldn't qualify for 100hr minimum) on top of making less overall.
Like so frustrated kind of want to just lay down and die. Whats point of being somewhere you hate for 8hrs a day and robbing you of all energy/passion. Just so that you can line up for it again next week no goals no progress nothing. Thats what 15hr here does you don't save for retirement you don't move on to buy house you don't progress in anyway. 15 is just enough to live with roommates and keep 30yr old car and eat ramen rice etc. Thats it no healthcare no retirement no kids nothing.
