Whether you are/were an intern, paid employee, independent contractor, or even just someone who works in any kind of salaried work, how often were you screwed out of deserved wages.

Whether being paid under the established minimum wage, weren't given a paycheck “accidentally” or otherwise, while being a contractor, or even had been otherwise screwed out of payment you were actually entitled to, all as a deliberate act on the part of who is responsible for paying you, how often does it happen? ​ Because often, I think about my future, particularly whether or not I could potentially have my wages withheld from me, for IF I am lucky to get a job. I want to hear personal stories, or incidents that you heard or read about secondhand, because I want to get a wider perception of just how bad the labor market can get.
