I keep seeing these job ads with titles like “Service Desk Analyst”. Are these companies really that naïve in thinking people will fall for the title simply because “analyst” is tacked on? I assume they're not aware that there's a giant difference between being an Analyst versus being a Service Desk agent. And these places are wondering why no one is applying. Thoughts?
