So my coworker has worked for this company for 10 years, and found out that she had been passed over for a promotion and raise, and someone else had been hired in her place because this person had a college degree from an American university. This is a woman who has dedicated the last 10 years of her life to this company, and has given up holidays and vacations for the benefit of the company, and found out today that she’s been passed over strictly because her degree was from a university outside of the United States. I was disgusted. The person they hired is 20 years younger and has no experience. How do I make sense of this?
