This short slide show is a compilation of images taken over my 8 month employment at Whole Foods Markets. I have been taking the photos since the start of my employment and carefully choosing ones that capture the essence as to what is was like working for the company. Some may not understand this video but I believe it shows the polluted, unpleasant, and nauseating side of working for a large company in an ultra-capitalistic society. My time here was all the more unpleasant, from poor scheduling, messy co-workers, poverty wages, inflated groceries, unfair time and attendance policies, and poor benefits, to no involvement and micro managing from upper management. Employees are constantly set up for inefficiency and failure during every shift no matter the changes made, and the corporate brainwashed upper management politely collects their salary wage to watch their employees through the cameras in their offices. Changes have to be made with how companies treat their employees. We need proper incentive and motivation to come into work everyday and enjoy our time and excel. Nobody wants to work in a boring dystopia, its time for things to change.
