why all the hate for landlords ?

I don't understand why so many people say that every landlord is a parasite, I get that some landlords are but I find it strange how much people on this subreddit hate on them. I dont see it be any different to any other job they get paid to provide a service, if landlords weren't a thing I wouldn't be able to have a house as can't afford the money for a deposit and have never had any problems with my landlord
